A freelance journalist for over a decade, she has covered the fun side of life—the arts, food and travel—for over a dozen local and national publications, including Intown Atlanta, Atlanta Parent, and the Decatur Dispatch.

Bobbi Kornblit currently teaches advanced grammar workshops for Emory’s Professional Learning Programs and also instructs at the training departments of Georgia Tech and Spelman College. She wrote the workbook for the course.


She attended UCLA and completed her B.A. at The University of Texas at Austin, graduating summa cum laude. She is a member of the Phi Kappa Phi scholastic society.

In addition to studying creative writing in graduate school, she has attended numerous writing workshops and seminars, including the Harriet Austin Writers’ Workshop in Athens, Georgia.

Bobbi Kornblit is active in several literary groups in Atlanta, including the Atlanta Writers Club and the Georgia Writer’s Association.
