What an honor to contribute an essay to THE PULPWOOD QUEENS CELEBRATE 20 YEARS! anthology! I highlighted my time in New York on a book excursion with Kathy L. Murphy (the Pulpwood Queen), Tiajuana Anderson Neel, selected authors, and members of Pulpwood Queen’s Book Clubs from around the country. In addition, I have attended five annual conventions of the world’s largest–and most fun–book club. In the attached photo, Kathy rocks teal-colored hair, and I wore the signature colors of hot pink and leopard print (if that can be considered a color!).
